My Story
I started working with Open Door Ministries in December of 2019. With our world going through a pandemic, it seems like a lifetime ago.
I am the Assistant House Director of Te Veo House. I will be living in the house and working 40 hours a week to handle the day to day running of the house and mentoring the women living in TeVeo House. We provide transitional housing to women facing homelessness. While preparing to open the home, I have had the opportunity to serve in the Learning Center, Still Water’s Housing, and the Family Room.
Te Veo House will be opening soon.
Te Veo house means “I see you.” This has long been my calling, to see each individual beyond the disease, disability, lifestyle, trauma, and mistakes. We all need to be seen for who we really are, as Jesus sees us. It will be my great honor to shine a light so they can see their worth and identity in Christ Jesus.
The need:
I am only able to carry out the work with your partnership. I need your prayers, encouragement, and if you are able, your financial support. Funding my ministry work is an act of serving the poor, homeless, and needy. The donations made help to offset the cost of paying me and will allow the organization to provide me more financial compensation to cover my living expenses.
